Once the jar file is downloaded to you computer, just open it (by clicking the file) to run it (JRE must be installed first).
This is a powerful tool to rename multiple files. It can be used to remove unwanted characters or replace them.
It can also be used to get a directory listing and save it to a file on disk.
The file list can be opened in Word or WordPad to edit the list and/or print it out.
